The following is a list of the equipment required to participate in Pyr’Epic:
Helmet worn for the totality of the race
1L minimum of supplementary water
Warm clothing in case of bad weather
The organizational committee may randomly check any rider for all required equipment. All competitors must complete the totality of the race with all required equipment under penalty of disqualification.
Riding Number Assignment
Riding numbers will be assigned Friday, 31th of August, from 11am to 3pm at Alba Hotel in Lourdes.
Every competitor must present one valid form of identification, their FFC license and medical certificate. These items will be held until the end of the race.
Hybrid MTB competitors must present both batteries to be officially labeled.
Shuttles and Baggage Claim
A shuttle system will be put in place Saturday morning departing from Lourdes. Competitors will be transported to La Mongie (65), the starting point of PYR’EPIC.
Baggage tags will be provided during riding number assignment. Baggage transport is made available in order to transfer personal belongings between stages.
Limited to one bag (20kg max.) per person.
